VIDEO/ Order the hostage-taking and murder of Jan Prenga, the "king" of cocaine is arrested in the luxury villa in Istanbul

The Turkish authorities have arrested Dritan Rexhepin, the head of a drug cartel called "Kompania Bello" that transported narcotics from South America to Europe.

Rexhepi is a name known to the Albanian authorities as well, as he was wanted for the hostage-taking and murder of Jan Prenga, as well as for drug trafficking. Meanwhile, he was also wanted in Spain, Italy and Great Britain for cocaine trafficking.

Dozens of police forces took part in the action in Istanbul, where the most wanted man was arrested inside a luxury villa. 

Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya said that it has been established that Rexhepi entered Turkey from the Istanbul airport with a Colombian passport registered in the name of Benjamin Omar Perez Garcia./ CNA
