The baby, who was found the day before in a garage in the capital, has died.
The news is confirmed by the Obstetrical-Gynecological Hospital "Koço Gliozheni", which announces that the abandoned baby in the Yzberishti area of ??Tirana did not make it even though the doctors of the hospital made all efforts.
Meanwhile, the mother who abandoned the baby, who is a 30-year-old man with the initials EI, has been identified. Initially, the latter denied that she was the child's mother and stated that she had no knowledge of the incident.
But when confronted with the evidence from the phone verification, she admitted everything.
The baby's mother has stated that she abandoned the baby because her family members were not aware of her pregnancy, as she is not married.
She has emphasized that she is afraid of public opinion as a single mother. Meanwhile, in the civil state, the police have established that the EI citizen is unmarried and has no other children. /CNA
