The Hysa brothers, who were mentioned by the Mexican media as being linked to the Sinaloa drug cartel, have gambling activities in Albania and Mexico.

Journalist Eni Ferhati said that the brothers have a casino in Vlora.

"The Hysa brothers, based on what the media in question have published and from the verifications we have done, are active in gambling. They have a pretend business not in Albania, with a casino that is in the Vlora area, but their casino also extends to Mexico", said the journalist.

He explained that the Albanian prosecution and police have no evidence regarding these citizens, even though they are mentioned as being involved in the drug cartel.

The Mexican media have revealed the scheme by which the Sinaloa cartel launders money in Albania. At its head is Ismael Zambada García, the leader of the Mexican cartel known as El Mayo.

According to the media of the Latin country, he is related to the four Albanian brothers; Luftar, Arben, Fatos and Ramiz Hysa who have been living in Mexico for years, whose photos have been published. They own several casinos and other businesses in the field of Tourism.
