The Tirana police have destroyed the group of Albanians who trafficked and sold stolen cars in EU countries.

As a result, a 52-year-old man, KB, was arrested, and the criminal proceedings were initiated against the citizens KT, 26 years old, DP, 46 years old and EK, 27 years old.

Meanwhile, the citizens of R.SH., 29 years old, IG, 32 years old, VP, 25 years old, IH, 34 years old and UB, 44 years old, have been declared wanted.

The police operation coded "Luxury" is being finalized by the Illegal Traffic Investigation Section at DVP Tirana.

Në kuadër të këtij operacioni u arrestua në flagrancë shtetasi K. B., 52 vjeç, si dhe nisi procedimi penal në gjendje të lirë për penalisht shtetasit K. T., 26 vjeç, D. P., 46 vjeç dhe E. K., 27 vjeç.

As material evidence, 6 vehicles and 1 motorcycle were seized, suspected of being stolen in EU countries.

From the investigative actions, it was found that the aforementioned citizens interfered with the trafficked vehicles, modifying the chassis numbers or electronic packages. Then they sold the vehicles to different people.

Work continues on documenting other cases of vehicle trafficking, which may have been committed by these citizens.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.
