Risks prison for 1 chicken coop/ 82-year-old woman with tears in her eyes: I'm not for prison, I'm for the cemetery

82-year-old Lefkothea Karasa has been criminally prosecuted for construction without a permit for erecting a chicken coop in the backyard of her house and risks prison.

In an interview for Euroneës Albania, the elderly woman who lives alone said with tears in her eyes that the police had taken her away and put her in a van.

"They put me in the van, I was scared. Geroni (the lawyer) told him why you took the letter, why didn't you tell me. I'm not going to prison, I'm going to the cemetery," said the elderly woman through tears.

It was the man's cousin who sued him.

They filed a lawsuit alleging that the lady was not building a chicken coop, but a kitchen that was damaging their home. /CNA.al
