Citizens' wallets were stolen near bus stations/ Two people were arrested

Two 45-year-old men have been arrested by the Tirana police, after allegedly stealing wallets from citizens near bus stations.

The police have handcuffed AS, 45 years old, resident of Berat, previously convicted of theft, and D.Gj., 45 years old, resident of Tirana.

These citizens are suspected of having, in cooperation with each other, stolen the wallets of different citizens, near bus stations, in different areas of Tirana. 

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that citizens D.Gj. and AS, are the authors of the following events:

On 14.07.2022, in the place called "Kthesa e Kamza", near the bus station, it is suspected that they stole the wallet with 800 euros, citizen BL;

On 15.07.2022, on "Mine Peza" street, near the bus station, it is suspected that the wallet with 15,500 new lek was stolen from the BC citizen

Work continues on documenting other thefts that may have been committed by these citizens. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions./ ET-CNA.al
