Two actions of the "Tempulli" operation arrested 864 people, who were mainly distributors of narcotics.

None of the leaders of the criminal groups were arrested from these operations.

The spokesman of the State Police, Gentjan Mullai, said on Monday evening in a television appearance that 31 members of the criminal groups were caught from the actions, but not their heads.

"So far, there are 864 people in both "Tempulli" operations. During the year 2023 in Elbasan, we conducted a similar operation, not on this scale, but we had almost 55 people arrested. These measures have come as a result of the collection of information by the state police. In Temple 1, 24 members of criminal groups were hit, in "Temple 2" there were 7 members of criminal groups.

All levels in these criminal groups have been hit. The operation is ongoing throughout Albania. There are 31 members of criminal groups who have been hit", declared Mullai./ CNA
