The currency exchange point in Tirana is robbed

A currency exchange point near the "Institute Bridge" was robbed the day before around 04:00 in the morning.

It is learned that 30 thousand new ALL were stolen from this point.

The robbery was committed by several masked persons. The perpetrators demolished a part of the wall of the building to rob the exchange point.

After the money robbery, they left in a "BMW" type car.

"On 01.02.2024, during the night, at the Agricultural Institute, on "Kastriotët" street, still unidentified citizens damaged the wall of a currency exchange entity, owned by citizen F. Gj., 59 years old, and took 30,000 new lek, and they left. Work is being done to identify and catch the perpetrators. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police announced. / CNA
