One of the neighbors of the victims spoke about the serious incident in Korça, where a mother and daughter were found dead in their apartment.

The neighbor revealed that, to her knowledge, he was the last person who contacted the 54-year-old OV on Saturday, January 27.

As CNA previously reported , the neighbor said the 54-year-old had taken EV's 75-year-old mother to the hospital because her oxygen was low.

When they had returned to the apartment, according to her, the girl had called her and asked her to see if she had forgotten the door of the house open and since then she had not been able to talk to her.

"I communicated with OV on Saturday, she told me that she had admitted her mother to the hospital because she had difficulty breathing. OV asked me to see if she had closed the door of her apartment or left it open. I went and checked the door of her house and I told her that the door is closed.

During these days, when I left the house, I knocked on OV's door, but no one answered, although when I looked at the door closely, it seemed to me that there was a key inside. I was worried because I was no longer contacting OV.

OV was an educator in Vithkuq, yesterday and today her work colleagues came to look for her, they also knocked but the door did not open. I also called their granddaughter, but she didn't know anything either. Today the boy from Greece came, he tried to open the door, but the door was locked from the inside. Then, with the help of the fire brigade and the police, the door was opened, but they were found dead", said the neighbor./ CNA
