They were transporting illegal immigrants/ Two people were arrested in Lezha

The police have finalized the coded police operation "Blockade", for striking another case of the criminal activity of transporting immigrants, for illegal crossing of the border.

As a result, the Blues handcuffed citizens EJ, 45 years old, resident of Kavajë and KU, 32 years old, resident of Krujë.

On the "Milot-Lezhë" road axis, "Benz" and "Volkswagen" type vehicles, driven by EJ and KU citizens, were located and stopped for checks. In these vehicles, there were a total of 12 immigrants from Third Countries, who were were transported by the 2 arrested, against 500 euros/person, in order to cross the border, illegally.

With the quality of material evidence, "Benz" and "Volkswagen" type vehicles were seized.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions./ CNA
