The Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime has been added as a verification filter to the Sheti Police recruitment procedure.

Any young man or excellent student who applies to become part of the blue uniforms, in addition to a series of certifications from prosecutors and courts of general jurisdiction, must also receive a certification that he is not under investigation or criminal prosecution by SPAK.

It is learned that dozens of young people have applied to the special prosecutor's office, receiving an answer within 5 days.
The addition of this filter comes as police officers of various levels have been implicated in criminal activity after the disclosure of encrypted communications in the SKY ECC application.
SPAK head Altin Dumani has also expressed his concern about the involvement and cooperation of the effectives of various structures with criminal groups.

SPAK is currently investigating several other criminal proceedings related to the SKY ECC application that are expected to clarify events and criminal activities where there are suspicions that employees or former police employees are implicated./CNA
