Video-Cannabis in the form of chocolate is seized / 20 arrested in Korça

Korça Police announces that the eighth phase of the police operation codenamed "Restart", started seven months ago, has been finalized, within which 20 people have been handcuffed so far.

The blue uniforms indicate that another 8 kilograms of the suspected narcotic substance cannabis and 550 grams of cannabis in the form of chocolate were seized.

Based on the information gathered that the above citizen would transport a quantity of drugs, the Police forces organized the work and located the vehicle type "Volkswagen", driven by the 22-year-old, in the town of Bilisht. During the control exercised in the vehicle, 1 black sports bag was found, inside which 8 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis and 1 other package weighing 550 grams of cannabis in the form of chocolate were found and seized as material evidence.

In cooperation with the Prosecution, investigations are underway to fully document the event.

The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Korça Judicial District, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics" . - reports the police./ CNA.al
