Assets worth 150,000 euros are seized in Elbasan

Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Elbasan, in the framework of a property proceeding, initiated in cooperation with the Department of Criminal Police in DPPSH, with the aim of tracking, locating and seizing assets derived from the criminal activities of citizens of accused or convicted by the justice authorities, inside and outside the country, have executed the decision of the Elbasan Judicial District Court, which decided to seize the citizen's assets:

- AM, 63 years old, resident of Elbasan, previously convicted by the Ankara Court of Serious Crimes, for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics".

In the framework of this property proceeding, the seizure of 3 properties worth about 150,000 euros has been decided, specifically:

- a residential building with an area of ??102.6 m2 and a yard with an area of ??250 m2, in the neighborhood "28 Novibri";

-a service facility (premises) with an area of ??28.4 m2, in the "Haxhias" neighborhood;

- a "Mercedes-Benz S-Class" type vehicle.

Work continues on tracking, locating and seizing other assets that are the source of this citizen's criminal activity./ CNA.al
