A member of a criminal group that dealt in drugs and weapons in Spain, the 67-year-old was arrested by the Fier Police, with the intention of extradition. 10 days ago, the Police arrested a 22-year-old man, a member of this same criminal group.

The specialists of the Section for Narcotics Investigation and the services of the Operational Sector of DVP Fier, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, on the location of an internationally wanted citizen, have organized and finalized the second phase of the coded police operation "Member".

Në kuadër të kësaj faze, si rezultat i shkëmbimit të informacionit me Interpol Tiranën, u kap dhe u arrestua përkohësisht, për t’u ekstraduar drejt Spanjës, shtetasi:

-Gj. P., 67 vjeç, banues në Fier.

Ky shtetas ishte shpallur në kërkim ndërkombëtar, pasi autoritetet gjyqësore spanjolle i kanë caktuar masën e sigurisë “Arrest në burg”, për veprat penale: “Trafikimi i narkotikëve”, “Kultivimi i bimëve narkotike”, “Organizata kriminale”, “Armëmbajtja pa leje” dhe “Vjedhja e energjisë elektrike”, të parashikuara nga legjislacioni penal i Spanjës.

From the investigations carried out in this country, it has been found that the 67-year-old, in collaboration with other citizens, adapted closed spaces, in different cities of Spain, for the cultivation of narcotic plants, by means of lamps. On February 18, the Fier Police, as part of the "Member" operation, arrested the citizen Xh. A., member of the same criminal group. Interpol Tirana is following the procedures for the extradition of this citizen.
