10 kg of narcotics seized in Shkodra/ 41-year-old arrested

A 41-year-old man was arrested today in Shkodra, following the finalization of the operation codenamed "Kosani".

Citizen A.Sh. has been placed in handcuffs, while it is reported that during a search of his old apartment, a bag of suspected cannabis, weighing about 10 kilograms, was found.

As material evidence, narcotics, a vehicle with foreign license plates and 2 motorboats were seized, which it is suspected that this citizen would use for drug trafficking.

Police announcement:

DVP Shkodër/Operational work and investigations with proactive methods, to prevent and combat criminal activities in the field of narcotics.  

After several weeks of investigations, the operation codenamed "Kosani" is finalized.   

Approximately 10 kilograms of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, 1 vehicle with foreign license plates and 2 motorboats were seized.    

Their possessor is put in handcuffs.

As a result of the investigations conducted by the Narcotics Investigation Section, under the direction of the Shkodra Prosecution Office, into a case of criminal activity in the field of narcotics, the operation codenamed "Kosani" was finalized, within the framework of which the citizen was arrested:    

-A. Sh., 41 years old, resident of the village of Aliaj. 

During the search of this citizen's old apartment, a bag of suspected Cannabis Sativa, weighing approximately 10 kilograms, was found, which was seized as material evidence.

Also, a vehicle with foreign license plates and 2 motorboats that this citizen was suspected of using for drug trafficking were seized as material evidence.

Investigations are ongoing to document this criminal activity.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further investigation. / CNA
