Knife wound at Kombinat/ The perpetrator is arrested

A stabbing occurred this morning in the Kombinat area of ??Tirana. According to reports, the incident occurred after a fight between two people who were drinking coffee in a bar.

After the conflict, 61-year-old A.A. pulled out a knife and injured 55-year-old E.M. The perpetrator has been arrested by the police, while it is reported that the investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.

Police announcement:

Kombinat/On 25.05.2026, at around 08:50, citizen A. A., 61 years old, resident of Kombinat, was presented to the hospital, suspected of being injured with a cutting tool. His life is out of danger.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene of the incident, where they made it possible to identify, capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the suspected perpetrator, citizen E. M., 55 years old, resident of Kombinat.

During the physical search, a cutting tool (knife) was found on this citizen, which was seized as material evidence.
