Gunshot wound to 51-year-old in Mamurras/Two young men wanted

A gunshot wound occurred yesterday evening in Mamurras, where a 51-year-old man was shot.

Regarding the incident, the police announced that citizens RN and ON, each 18 years old, have been identified and are wanted. They are suspected of having injured the 51-year-old man after a conflict over weak motives.

The young men then fled the scene in a vehicle that was seized by police as evidence. Meanwhile, it is reported that the injured man is still in hospital, out of danger.

Following the preliminary information provided last night, we clarify that verifications showed that the person wounded with a gunshot wound to the hand was citizen MM, 51 years old. 

We also inform you that after in-depth investigative actions, carried out by the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat and those of the Lezha DVP, in order to clarify the circumstances and authorship of this case, citizens RN and ON, each 18 years old and residents of Mamurras, were identified and declared wanted, who are suspected of having wounded the 51-year-old man with a firearm, for weak motives, on the street, in Mamurras, and then left the scene, in a vehicle that was found in the apartment of citizen ON, and was seized as material evidence.

The injured person continues to be under the care of doctors and is out of danger. 

Intensive work is underway to capture the 2 citizens, as well as to individualize their criminal responsibility. / CNA
