Two traffic officers are suspended/ The charges against them

The Regional Directorate of AMP Vlorë has executed the preventive security measures of the Court of First Instance Vlorë against two employees of the Urban and Interurban Traffic Sector in DVP Vlorë.

The Court of First Instance of Vlora, in the context of criminal proceedings no. 824/2022 referred by AMP to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Vlora registered for the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" has imposed the security measure of a preventive nature "Suspension of the exercise of a duty a public service", so:

- Inspector I. LL., with service corps duty in the Urban and Interurban Traffic Sector in DVP Vlora

- Inspector RY, with service body duty in the Urban and Interurban Traffic Sector in DVP Vlora.

From the investigations of criminal proceedings no. 824 of 2022, of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Vlora, it has been documented with legal evidence that in some cases, police officers have consumed elements of the criminal offense "Abuse of duty" committed in cooperation, favoring citizen in violation of the law against monetary gain. /CNA.al
