Benefited 27,000 euros through fraud/ 34-year-old man arrested in Shkodër, scheme revealed

The Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Sector for Special Operations and Research in the DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, after a genuine investigative work, has finalized the police operation coded "Statement".

During the operation, RA citizen, 34 years old, resident of Shkodër, was detained for the criminal offenses of "Fraud", "Forgery of documents" and "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms".

This citizen, being employed in a company from which he made various bank deposits, cheated by depositing smaller amounts of money than the real amounts. 

Through fraud, this citizen has embezzled 27,000 euros and presented suspected falsified documents (mandates) at his workplace. 

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office.
