A large-scale fire broke out on Monday afternoon in the "Sheq i Madh" neighborhood in Fier, near the former urban waste field, endangering homes and businesses.

The fire was also favored by the strong wind and spread rapidly, covering a wide area and endangering the entire area.

3 firefighting vehicles and an autobot of the Fier Municipality immediately arrived at the scene and managed to bring the flames under control. The strong wind complicated the situation even more, as it favored it, making it difficult for the firefighting forces to intervene.

All the residents of the alarmed area tried to help put out the flames, but it was impossible. Some of them stated that the fire was intentional.
