After 3 weeks of investigation, prostitution den in Durrës is discovered

After three weeks of investigations, an operation codenamed "Storm 8" was conducted, where a prostitution den was discovered in Durrës.

As a result of this operation, in neighborhood no. 13, Plazh, Durrës, on “Venecia” street, citizens MY, 41 years old, and LH, 48 years old, both Chinese citizens, were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of “Prostitution” and “Adapting premises for prostitution”.

Also, three citizens from Librazhd, Durrës and Burreli, who were found in the apartment rented by the two Chinese citizens, were prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Prostitution".

Following the operation, a wanted notice was issued for Chinese citizen JL, 53 years old, for the criminal offense of "Adapting premises for prostitution".

As material evidence, two passports of foreign citizens, a sum of money in euros and lek, five mobile phones, nine bank cards from various banks of the Republic of China, a notebook, etc. were seized.

These citizens had rented an apartment in the Shkëmbi i Kavajës area for their stay, while on "Venecia" street, in Iliria, Plazh, they had rented another apartment, which they had adapted for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

From the investigative actions carried out, it resulted that the foreign nationals had been arrested previously by the Durrës DVP services, for the same criminal offenses, in neighborhood no. 13, Plazh, Durrës, on “Lule Bore” street./ CNA
