Altin Kodra served 22 years in prison for murdering a businessman/ Released from

Altin Kodra is released from the '41-Biss' regime. The media reports that Kodra has been released from Peqin prison today, after completing his sentence for the murder of a businessman. The incident took place in Shkodër in 2006.

Kodra was sentenced to 22 years in prison by the Shkodra Judicial District Court for committing the criminal offenses: "Intentional Murder" and "Unlicensed Possession of Combat Weapons", but during the time he served his sentence, Kodra was also convicted of other criminal offenses.

On 11.10.2012, the Krujë Judicial District Court convicted him of committing the criminal offense of "Leaving the place of residence".

Kodra was convicted in two other cases, by a final decision dated 04.05.2022, by the Elbasan Judicial District Court, for committing the criminal offense of "Introducing or keeping prohibited items in the Penitentiary Institution".

The special regime "41-Biss" is a measure for high security and for individuals with pre-trial detention status./ CNA
