Operation "Daily Rent"/ Prostitution den discovered, two Brazilian

A 25-year-old Brazilian citizen has been arrested by the Tirana Police after exploiting a 24-year-old Brazilian woman for prostitution.

The young woman was also arrested after being accused of practicing prostitution. Citizens RP, 22 years old, and EK, 20 years old, were also criminally prosecuted.    

The activity was carried out in an apartment rented by AM. At the time of the arrest, RP and EK were also found in the apartment.

Police Announcement:

"Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Daily rent" is finalized."   

A case of exploitation of prostitution is being investigated by Police Station No. 3.

A Brazilian citizen has been arrested for exploiting a 24-year-old (Brazilian citizen) for prostitution in premises he rented on a daily basis.

The 24-year-old prostitute was also arrested. 

Two other citizens are being prosecuted. 

A sum of money, suspected to have been obtained from prostitution, is seized.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 3, in continuation of their work to crack down on illegalities, after an intensive investigative work, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Daily rent".   

As part of this operation, the following Brazilian citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:  

-AM, 25 years old, for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution";   

-GC, 24 years old, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution". 

Also, citizens RP, 22 years old, and EK, 20 years old, were criminally prosecuted.    

The investigative actions resulted in the discovery that citizen AM exploited citizen GC for prostitution, who practiced this activity in premises that citizen AM rented on a daily basis.

During the intervention in an apartment that citizen AM had rented daily, on "Zogu i Parë" Boulevard, for the exercise of this activity, the 24-year-old woman and citizens RP and EK were found. 

The work continues under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office to fully document the case and identify other citizens involved in this activity.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Court of First Instance, for further action." / CNA
