Anti-drug operation in Korça / 42 kilograms of cannabis seized

Korça Police has finalized the ninth phase of the police operation codenamed "Restart". This operation started seven months ago and so far over 20 people have been arrested.

At this stage, the Korça police informs that 42 kg of suspected cannabis have been seized.

Two persons were handcuffed, respectively citizens LH, 41 years old, resident in Elbasan, ZS, 65 years old, resident in the village of Miras, Devoll.

Specialistët e Seksionit për Hetimin e Trafiqeve të Paligjshme dhe Narkotikëve në Drejtorinë Vendore të Policisë Korçë, në bashkëpunim me Stacionin e Policisë Kufitare Kapshticë dhe shërbimet e Frontex-it, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë së Rrethit Gjyqësor Korçë, në vijim të operacionit policor "Restart", nisur shtatë muaj më parë kanë finalizuar me sukses fazën e? nëntë të tij, si rezultat i së cilës u bë kapja dhe arrestimi në flagrancë i shtetasve:

- L. H., 41 vjeç, banues në Elbasan.

- Z. S., 65 vjeç, banues në fshatin Miras, Devoll.

The services of the Border Police Station Kapshtica in cooperation with the services of Frontex, have ascertained the above two citizens near the village of Dobranj, Devoll and have signaled you to stop. These citizens, as soon as they saw the Police services in their direction, tried to run away and threw three black bags on the ground.

The Border Police and Frontex forces were put in pursuit and made it possible to capture and detain them. "During the control exercised inside their bags, a quantity of 42 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis was found, divided into packages, which was seized as material evidence" , reports the police./ CNA.al
