Anti-drug operation in Athens / 2 Albanians arrested, operating in student centers

A police operation by the Athens Prosecution and Criminal Investigation Sub-Directorate of the Attica General Police Directorate began this morning, with the aim of dismantling a criminal organization active in drug trafficking within the Zografou Campus, and has resulted in several arrests, including Albanians.

According to details from the Greek media outlet "To Vima", four members of the organization have been arrested, while during the investigation, quantities of cannabis and money were seized. The arrested are two Greeks and two Albanians.

The members of the organization did not reside within the Student Centers, however, they are suspected of trafficking drugs within the Campus.

During the ensuing investigations, quantities of cannabis with a total weight of approximately six kilograms, a sum of money of approximately twenty thousand euros, as well as mobile phones were found and seized. /CNA
