Operation in Tirana/ Drug packages seized

The services of Police Commissariat No. 4, in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Tirana DVP, following information received in the operational route that at an entrance to a building on "Xhanfize Keko" street, two citizens were carrying and distributing narcotics in gelatin form, organized and finalized the operation codenamed "STOP".

As a result of the operation, citizens D. B(K), 35 years old, and EX, 30 years old, both residents of Tirana, were captured and arrested.

During the search of the premises where the aforementioned citizens were found, the Police services found and seized 8 packages of suspected cannabis narcotics in gelatin form.

Further, during the search of the apartment of citizen D. B(K), approximately 802 grams of suspected cannabis narcotic substance, as well as 3 cold weapons (knives), were found and seized.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, investigations continue to fully document this case and identify other citizens implicated in this criminal activity./ CNA
