Environmental disaster continues in Fushë-Krujë, Halil and Kameras/ Residents raise the alarm

The environmental situation in Fushë-Krujë, in the areas of Halili and Kameras, continues to be worrying. The burning of waste has not stopped, while black smoke has covered the entire area, even penetrating into the homes of residents.

Residents have reported that the fires at the landfill have been going on for days and have posted images showing flames and thick plumes of smoke. They say the pollution has become unbearable and the air has become significantly heavier.

According to them, despite the concerns raised continuously, the authorities have not taken concrete measures to stop the burning of waste and guarantee the safety of residents.

Residents point out that the black smoke released by the burning of waste poses a serious health risk, especially for children, the elderly and people with respiratory problems. They demand immediate intervention from the responsible institutions to bring the situation under control and put an end to the pollution that, according to them, is endangering the life and health of the community./ CNA
