The 14-year-old with the initials AJ gave birth to her child in the city's maternity hospital, after a year of dating a 21-year-old. Due to his age, the latter was detained by the police, after he admitted to the paternity of the child in a statement in front of the blue uniforms.

The 14-year-old from the Roma community has opposed this action of the police, saying that she wants the 21-year-old to be released and calls him her husband.

On the other hand, the parents of the 14-year-old girl reacted with the same attitude, who said that they agreed on their daughter's relationship, married her against her will and demanded the release of the child's father.

"He fell in love with a girl and we agreed. I want the groom to come out as soon as possible. That's how we got married, small. I too have been married for 12 years. Age is not a problem for us, in our race we marry young. We married our daughter willingly. We are from Elbasan and we married the girl in Korça willingly.
