Wanted for production and sale of narcotics/ 45-year-old man with two identities

A 45-year-old citizen has been arrested in Shijak at the conclusion of the police operation codenamed "Masa", to capture wanted persons.

Citizen EK, alias AK, was given a security measure of "Arrest in prison", and has been wanted since January 2025 for criminal activity in the field of narcotics.

Announcement:

In implementation of the plan of measures designed to locate and capture wanted persons, as a result of controls based on information obtained operationally by the structures of the Durrës DVP, the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force at the Durrës Local Police Directorate, successfully conducted and finalized the police operation codenamed "Masa".

As a result of the operation, citizen EK, alias AK, 45 years old, resident of Xhafzotaj, Shijak, was located and arrested.

This citizen was wanted after the Durrës Court of General Jurisdiction, in July 2025, imposed the security measure "prison arrest" for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

In January 2025, based on information obtained in the operational route about a citizen who was selling narcotics, the structures of the Durrës DVP carried out a search in the apartment of this citizen, where they seized a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis. At the time of the search, this citizen was not found in the apartment.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës, for further action. /CNA
