Two shepherd houses discovered in Vau i Dejës

Following the plan of measures to identify and crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants in closed environments, based also on information obtained operationally, the services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat, in cooperation with those of the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Shkodra Police Department, and supported by the Operational Force and the "Eagles", have exercised intensive controls in closed environments, with the aim of ascertaining and cracking down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants using lamps, drying and processing them for sale.

In this context, the fifth phase of the police operation codenamed "Neons" was organized and finalized.

During the operation, citizen A. Ç., 31 years old, resident of Shkodra, was arrested in flagrante delicto, and citizens Gj. G., 46 years old, LG, 53 years old, EG, 43 years old and MG, 51 years old, all residents of the village of Barbullush, were declared wanted.

Following the operation, citizens FH, 31 years old, resident of the village of Ashtë, A. Gj., 46 years old, resident of the village of Barbullush, and ZN, 27 years old, resident of the village of Mali i Jushit, employees of OSHEE, were also detained for the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", committed in collaboration.

From the checks in two premises (apartments), in the village of Barbullush, adapted for the cultivation and drying of narcotic cannabis plants, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 583 suspected narcotic cannabis plants, 7 kg and 490 gr of cannabis, 307 electrical devices used for the cultivation of narcotic plants, 3 mobile phones.
