Wanted for "Call Center" fraud/ A person is arrested in Dhërmi

Citizen GP, ??who was wanted for fraud with the "Call Center", was arrested in Dhëmi. According to reports, he was handcuffed by the Vlora Operational Forces. 

The Tirana Court had set the security measure of "prison arrest" for GP, within the framework of the "Call Center" file, which is suspected of having defrauded hundreds of European citizens and caused financial damage estimated at over 50 million euros. 

He is suspected of the criminal offenses of computer fraud and money laundering, and an arrest warrant was issued against him after being identified as one of the main figures in the group.

SPAK's operation to crack down on "Call Centers" was carried out in cooperation with Austrian authorities, who helped uncover a sophisticated fraud scheme that is suspected of operating through organized structures camouflaged as legitimate companies. /CNA
