The sister of the pregnant woman killed in Kosovo confesses through tears /

Mirushe Lohaj, the sister of the 35-year-old pregnant woman who was killed by her ex-husband on Wednesday evening, stated in a statement for KosovaPress the moment she heard the news.

"I found out about the case in the news, the second sister is married in Slovenia and called me. He said to me, "Oh, sister, it's a case, even if it's our sister." I said no, no, because I got excited and said 'yes'. I immediately called my husband and we left, we left with a car that was likely to leave us on the road", said Mirushja between tears.

She insisted that the police and the doctors were aware of her case with her ex-husband to whom she had been married for four months.

"The police have been aware of the case since they have been separated from him for four months. The sister did not tell us anything, but we came and visited her", said Mirushe Lohaj.

She said that the victim's mother-in-law, that is, the mother of the perpetrator of the crime, together with her daughter, were also visiting and they tried to reconcile the divorced couple.

"Her mother-in-law and her sister-in-law were there one day and we haven't spoken. She went out and chatted and told him 'go back for the child's sake'. He told him 'who took you by the neck' and he replied 'your son took me by the neck'", says Mirushja.
