Criminal group dismantled/ Dumani: The organization has the ability to influence

SPAK, in cooperation with European law enforcement agencies, has cracked down on a criminal organization that trafficked cocaine from Latin American countries to the EU. As a result of this operation, 16 security measures have been issued for members of this criminal group.

The prosecutors of this mega-operation, Altin Dumani and Vladimir Mara, stated in an official statement that this group is one of the most powerful in international cocaine trafficking.

According to the head of SPAK and prosecutor Mara, the criminal group has the capacity to directly influence the price of cocaine in European markets.

 

"This criminal organization can be considered one of the most powerful Albanian organizations in international cocaine trafficking. It had the capacity to directly influence the price of cocaine in European markets and to manage large quantities of the narcotic substance in short periods of time. The high financial power of this organization, the structuring and organization of a very high level, as well as the ability to recover losses resulting from seizures, distinguish it from other criminal groups investigated by SPAK, state special prosecutors Dumani and Mara./ CNA
