The Tirana police have arrested a 22-year-old man with the initials RM, who was moving armed in the capital.

In implementation of the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan "Rule of Law", the coded police operation "Arbana" was finalized.

As a result of this operation, a citizen of RM, 22 years old, resident of Arbana, was arrested in the act.

During the control of the RM citizen, the police services found and seized, as material evidence, a firearm, a pistol with a comb and combat ammunition.

Following the actions, during the control of his apartment, the Police services found and seized quantities of combat ammunition as well as suspected cannabis seeds.

From the information received, it is suspected that this citizen had the firearm to sell.

Work is being done to identify other persons involved in this criminal activity.

Following the actions, he was arrested in flagrante delicto and the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further actions./ CNA
