The services of the Special Force "Eqiponja", in cooperation with Police Station No. 6, following the work to combat illegality in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on information intelligence about a citizen who was walking armed on the secondary road Tirana-Vorë, they immediately organized the work for his capture and finalized the police operation coded "Sunday".

As a result, citizen AZ, 37 years old, resident of Golem, was arrested in the act. In addition, the EB citizen, 35 years old, resident in Tirana, was criminally prosecuted.

On the secondary road Tirana-Vorë, the Police services stopped the vehicle driven by the citizen AZ, and during the inspection of the vehicle, they found a firearm, a pistol and a quantity of suspected narcotic cocaine. Following the actions, during the check of the bag of the citizen EB (passenger in the vehicle), they found quantities of suspected narcotic substance cannabis, which was seized as material evidence together with the pistol and cocaine.
