As a result of controls throughout the territory of the district and the work of police intelligence, which are being carried out within the framework of the "Rule of Law" mega-operation, the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja" of DVP Lezhë organized and finalized the coded police operation "Calibre". ".

During the operation, on the road of Kunes, Shengjin, the Police services stopped for checks, the "BMW" type vehicle, driven by the citizen Xh.S. From the checks, this citizen was found with 1 pistol firearm, with a cartridge in the slot, ready to fire.

Further, 18 more bullets were found in a "Golf" type vehicle on "Fran Ivanaj" street, Shengjin, also owned by this citizen.

At the end of the procedural actions, citizen Xh. was arrested in flagrante delicto. S., 36 years old, resident of Pogradec, for the criminal offense "Possessing and manufacturing weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition without permission".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions. /CNA
