Games of chance in the bar in Kamez/ 3 people are arrested, more than 9 thousand euros are seized

Services of Police Station No. 5, following the work to crack down on the illegal activity of gambling, based on the information provided by the information intelligence about a case of exercising this activity, in a bar in Kamez, they organized and finalized the police operation coded "Game over". 

As a result of this operation, the citizens AD, 51 years old, PP, 44 years old, AJ, 41 years old, were arrested, and the citizen VS, 45 years old, all residents of Tirana, were prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Organizing or exercising gambling activities contrary to the law".

During this operation, control was exercised in a bar in Kamëz, in which the Police services caught these citizens red-handed practicing gambling activities, in violation of the law. 

As material evidence, 9,550 euros and 142,500 new lek were seized, which are suspected to have benefited from this illegal activity./ CNA
