The Durrës police were able to arrest 6 people who were carrying firearms (Kalashnikovs) without a permit and were shooting at night, with the aim of posting videos on TikTok. Meanwhile, a minor is also under investigation.

During the police action, the police found and confiscated a firearm, a rifle and combat ammunition. Together with the weapons, the 2 vehicles used by these citizens were seized, as well as 8 mobile phones.

Police Notification:

They carried firearms (Kalashnikov) without a permit and carried out shootings at night, with the aim of posting videos on TikTok, 6 citizens were arrested and 1 minor was prosecuted.

The father of one of the arrested is also in handcuffs, after another firearm (rifle) was found in his apartment.

2 firearms, 2 combs, about 500 ammunition, 8 mobile phones and 2 vehicles were seized.

In the framework of the implementation of the plan of measures defined in the national operational plan coded "Rule of Law", based on police intelligence, as well as after the continuous monitoring of social networks, where some young people posted videos in which they appeared carrying out shootings with firearms, during the night, the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja", in cooperation with the services of the Durrës Police Station, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Shooters".

During the operation, the following citizens were arrested in the act:

• One S., 56 years old and MS, 19 years old, father and son, both residents of the village of Rrushkull, for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition";

• KP, 19 years old, KJ, 20 years old, AT, 18 years old, AH, 19 years old and ET, 19 years old, all residents of Tirana, for the criminal offense of "Criminal failure".

Also, following the operation, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for a 17-year-old, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of the crime".

The 7 arrested/processed youths were caught in the act after providing information that they were preparing to shoot on the hill of the Hamallaj village, with firearms that they possessed without a permit, in order to post videos on the social network "TikTok".

During the operation, the Kalashnikov firearm was found with which the youths were shooting. In the following, during the inspection in the residence of citizens Nj. S. and MS, where the 56-year-old man was arrested, the Police found and seized a firearm, a rifle and combat ammunition. Together with the weapons, the 2 vehicles used by these citizens were seized, as well as 8 mobile phones.
