Following the continuous work in the field, for the identification, capture and arrest of citizens who possess weapons, without a permit, the services of the Peqin Police Station have provided information that 2 brothers possessed an arsenal of firearms, in their apartment, in the neighborhood " I'm sorry".

Based on this information, a several-day investigation was followed, with special methods, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan, as a result of which, by the services of the Peqin Police Station and those of the Special Operational Force of DVP Elbasan, the police operation was finalized codenamed "Brothers". As part of this operation, controls were carried out in the apartment of the 2 brothers and in the surrounding area.

From the checks, 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 pistol firearm, 1 revolver firearm, 1 shotgun and ammunition for them were found hidden in four bags in this apartment. Weapons and military ammunition were sent for expertise, in order to verify whether or not they were used for criminal events.

Following the procedural actions for this case, the citizens AB alias GM, 46 years old and BM, 43 years old (brothers), were arrested in the act for the criminal offenses "Possessing without permission and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Production and illegal possession of hunting and sporting weapons"

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
