Anti-drug action in Tirana is revealed/ 8 people arrested, one declared wanted

The operation developed with proactive methods, by the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana issued 9 arrest warrants, of which 8 were executed and 1 was declared wanted.

During the development of this six-month operation, 650 doses of cannabis sativa, 150 doses of narcotic cocaine, 1 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, hundreds of pharmaceutical bags used for packaging narcotics, two electronic scales, and 5 mobile devices were seized.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, following the work to combat criminal activity in the field of narcotics distribution, after a real six-month investigative work with proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of the First Degree of General Jurisdiction Tirana, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Kodra e Diellit 3".

As part of this operation, the following citizens were detained: HR, 35 years old, VB, 31 years old, AH, 19 years old, AA, 20 years old, Xh. A., 21 years old, D. Sh., 46 years old, DS, 19 years old, and I. Gj., 22 years old, all residents of Tirana.

A citizen of KR, 29 years old, resident in Tirana, was also declared wanted.

From the verifications carried out, it has emerged that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, procured suspected narcotics of the cocaine and cannabis type, in large quantities, and then sold them in different areas of Tirana, mainly in the vicinity of night clubs and places frequented by young people.

As material evidence, during the entire operation, 650 doses of cannabis sativa, 150 doses of the narcotic substance cocaine, 1 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, hundreds of pharmaceutical bags used for packaging narcotics, two electronic scales, and 5 mobile devices.

Work continues on the capture of the KR citizen

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
