They risked drowning in Shengjin and Velipoja/ Three citizens are saved

The services of the Shengjin Border Police went to the aid of 2 citizens who risked drowning after their boats (pedalons) were far away from the shore due to the strong wind.  

After receiving the notification that 2 citizens who were sailing on pedal boats, on the beach of Shengjin, were in danger because due to the strong wind they had lost control over the boats and had gone too far from the shore, the Border Police services immediately started the search for finding them. 

After searches with the Border Police vessel, the 2 pedal boats and their 2 drivers were located about 3 miles from the coast.    

In another case, Shkodër Border Police services helped a citizen who was in danger of drowning due to high waves, on the beach of Velipoja. After the quick intervention, the Police services brought this citizen ashore and gave him first aid. He thanked the police officers for the quick intervention and the help they offered him./ CNA
