Controls for drugs in Vaun e Dejas/ More than 1 thousand cannabis plants are

1030 cannabis sativa narcotic plants were seized today thanks to the police mega-operation coded "Clean Alps".

90 police forces and 6 drones were engaged in the two-day operation.

On the first day of this phase, 830 narcotic cannabis sativa plants were destroyed that were found cultivated in Sumë village, Pult administrative unit.

On the second day of this phase, another 200 narcotic cannabis sativa plants were destroyed, which were found cultivated in the territory of the village of Vjerdhë, Vau i Dejës.

The investigative structures of DVP Shkodër and subordinate commissariats, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, continue the actions to identify and capture the author(s) of this criminal activity.

Currently, the anti-cannabis police mega-operation "Clean Alps" is ongoing.

Meanwhile, the Police of Shkodra appeals to all residents of the mountainous areas of the district and to all farmers not to be involved in the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants, as well as to report to the Digital Police Station or toll-free number 112, any evidence that may have for this criminal activity./ CNA.al
