Armed conflict in Laç/ Court leaves two perpetrators in prison

The Lezha Court has ordered prison sentences for Klevis Ndreca and Danjel Gejloš, the two perpetrators of the gunfight in Laç, which left 4 people injured and a 24-year-old man dead.

The fight between young people in Laç occurred on Saturday afternoon. They physically clashed and then the fight escalated to the point of using a weapon. Five people were injured, one of whom died at the Trauma Hospital.

A street vendor who, according to reports, had intervened to stop the clash was also injured in the gunfight.

In their testimony, the two perpetrators claimed that they went to clarify the situation, but that the situation escalated to the point of using a weapon.
