Journalist Klodiana Lala has made strong statements about the drug baron, Gëzim Çela, who has been wanted by justice since 2014.

Invited to the show "Opinion", Lala said that Çela has a lot of power and has been dealing with drugs since 1997.

The journalist said that Gëzim Çela's connections are much higher than the head of the police station.

" Gëzim Çela has super power, he has been involved in drug trafficking since 1997. He was convicted in Italy. He was arrested on his way back from Turkey and released again.

He is a man who could not be arrested by the local police.

His connections are much higher than the police chief. I suspect they had to get a tacit approval from the problematic chunas. Since 2014, he is being searched ," said Lala./ CNA
