New details have emerged from the arrest of the Chief of Kurbin Police Station, Dritan Metaj, who was arrested one day by order of SPAK. 

It is reported that Metaj has had an important role in the criminal group of drug trafficking in Fushë Kuqe.

Metaj performed the role of transporter of criminal members, among them the drug baron Gëzim Çelaj, using his position as police commissioner to move them without anyone checking or suspecting them.

All his criminal activity has been documented by SPAK, through a high number of mobile phones seized in the "Flame at Sea" operation organized in August. It is known that numerous conversations of Metaj with Gëzim Çelaj and 2 other wanted persons have been found.
