The coded police operation "Tranzit 21" is finalized, thanks to which 3 people were arrested for the illegal transportation of illegal immigrants.

Specifically, citizens with the initials RI, 32 years old, Gramsh, DG, 31 years old and PL, 35 years old, both residents of Fier, were arrested in the act.

These persons were caught red-handed by the Police services, on the Tirana-Elbasan highway, transporting 21 immigrants in a vehicle, who, in return for a monetary reward, were promised transportation from the Greek border to the north of Albania, with the aim of crossing theirs at border points, with final destination EU countries.  

Following the actions, 21 illegal immigrants were criminally prosecuted for the criminal offense "Illegal crossing of the state border". 

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further actions./ BA - CNA.al
