A 31-year-old man has been located and arrested in the city of Durrës, wanted after threatening a citizen with a firearm at midnight on October 16, 2025.

The person arrested at the end of the police operation codenamed "Authority" is citizen GG, a resident of Tirana.

The Court of Durres has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on this citizen, for the criminal offenses of "Threat" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

Announcement:

As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained through intelligence, regarding the location of the suspected perpetrator of the firearm threat, a BiH citizen, committed for weak motives, around midnight on 16.10.2025, on the street, in the village of Flaka, the services of the Special Operational Force, in cooperation with specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person, finalized the operation "Authority".

As part of this operation, the suspected perpetrator of the case, citizen GG, 31 years old, resident of Tirana, was located, captured and detained.

The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durres, with the decision dated 01.11.2025, has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Threat" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action. /CNA
