Accused of drug cultivation in Spain/ 37-year-old with two identities arrested

A 37-year-old man has been arrested and handcuffed in Tirana, with the aim of extradition to Spain, after being accused by the Malaga Court of cultivating narcotic plants.

The arrested person is a citizen with two identities, Gj. C. alias Gj. K., who is internationally wanted.

Announcement:

Following the operations conducted by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department of the State Police, for the localization, capture and detention of wanted citizens, based on information obtained through operational channels, the next operation, codenamed "Operation 76", was finalized.

During this operation, the internationally wanted citizen was arrested in Tirana:

Gj. C. alias Gj. K., 37 years old, resident of Tirana.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Court of Malaga, Spain, with the decision dated 14.11.2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants".

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Madrid, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen./CNA
