The Venice police have arrested the two Albanian husbands on charges of drug trafficking and drug possession in the city of Mestre. According to the police, more than 70 kilograms of drugs were seized, including hashish, cocaine and marijuana. 

The sale of the goods would have earned the couple over 1 million euros. In the sight of the police who were conducting checks in the commercial area of ??Mestre, the couple tried to change the direction of travel, but their car was stopped by the police.

The Guardia di Finanza accompanied them to their home for a more thorough search. 

Another car was found in the backyard where 20 kilograms of hashish were hidden. Also, about 300 grams of cocaine that was hidden in the smoke evacuation pipe of the house were confiscated. 

The keys to another drug warehouse, located a few kilometers away, were also found in the house. Here, 3 kilograms of cocaine, 20 kilograms of marijuana organized in 18 bags and 27 kilograms of hash divided into 55 blocks were confiscated in a closet./CNA.al
