Earthquake in Fier/Civil Defense: There are no problems, we are monitoring the situation

The Civil Protection Agency has reacted after the earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8, which was registered this evening in Fier.

The Civil Defense declares that there are no problems for the community or damage to the infrastructure.

"According to reports from the Institute of Geosciences, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 was recorded on 25.10.2024, at 19:32:42.

The epicenter is located in Kuman village, Fier Municipality, with coordinates 40.711°N and 19.687°E, at a depth of 15 km.

From the communications received so far, there are no reported problems for the community or damage to the infrastructure," the announcement states.

The Ministry of Defense and the National Civil Defense Agency are monitoring the situation for any further developments./ CNA
